AY Makun Laments About Nigerians Who Sell Their Lands, Cars and Other Properties to Relocate Abroad
Comedian and actor, Ayo Makun, better known as AY has shared his opinion about the reason people travel abroad for proverbial greener pastures.
The funnyman, who travelled abroad months ago to surprise his daughter on her birthday, said that people sell their landed properties to relocate to foreign countries in the West.
However, many of them have to take up three jobs to survive and eventually send money to Nigeria to buy land again.

@onwuachichris81:
“Life is beyond the two far ends u identified… How about the in-betweens such as free quality education for children, good health care, security, healthy life, peace, and happiness enjoyed when the relocation takes place.”
@official_alviravows:
“The comfort over there is what counts. Can our country give us that kind of comfort and security?”
@nurse_kenneth007:
“Half the comment section go still sell their land if dem get. He whom the gods favour go think to say others lazy.”
@tmsqueenempire:
“Why did u send ur daughter to London to school?? And left all the good universities in Nigeria, and now you are paying big school, please explain to us 😂😂😂 wetin do Uniben??? Uniport?? Delsu??? Afebabalola and etc??”
@btwizzy1:
“There are several compelling reasons to consider relocating abroad. Firstly, owning a plot of land in Nigeria doesn’t guarantee development, as financial constraints can delay construction for up to a decade. However, selling the land and using the funds to travel abroad can provide opportunities to acquire new properties and build a mansion within a remarkably short period of 2 to 3 years.”
@fcmgist:
“The Nigerians abroad are already in a stable environment with their future secured. The Nigerians in Nigeria do not have security yet.”
