Fury Set To Come Out Of Retirement

Tyson Fury has verbally agreed to make a comeback to boxing, Turki Alalshikh has said in a bombshell announcement.

Fury confirmed his retirement from the sport in February following a second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.

‘The Gypsy King’ had stated that he was ‘happy’ and ‘content’ with his career and that he wouldn’t be returning.

However, he has hinted that he would only step back in the ring if he was able to fight Usyk for the third time.

And now, it seems the former heavyweight champion has had his wish granted.

According to talkSPORT, Saudi boxing chief Alalshikh announced on X on Wednesday that Fury had given his word that he will come out of retirement.

He posted: “The ‘Gypsy King’ will be back!!! I talked with him, and I have his word to have him in Riyadh Season in 2026.”

Alalshikh then included a reference to a ‘rabbit’, which is a reference to what Fury had labelled Usyk throughout their rivalry.

“We have a rabbit to hunt!” he added.

The announcement also included a picture of Fury alongside Alalshikh with the pair shaking hands.

A potential comeback will also give boxing fans hope of an all-British fight with former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua.

Joshua has refused to rule out a monumental clash with Fury, and now there is a chance it may end up finally happening.
